What is
People Media?
A medium is a ‘channel of communication’- a means through which people send and receive information (www.sociology.org.uk/media_defined.pdf).
The most basic sources of these media are people.
People Media, therefore, are those who create and send information/ messages through different channels of communication:
- traditional media: letters, posters, books, television, and radio.
- new media: digital media -> social media
Objectives of this report:

To identify the different people in media which are categorized based on their functions in the following units: family, school and community.

To determine the educational implications of people media in the following units: family, school and community.

To determine how the Social Media, the latest channel used by the people media, is used as a new means of communication.
