REPORTING

In order to discuss the Instructional Media Resources, the class was divided into three and had to report two of the given media resources. These were People Media, Text Media, Visual Media, Motion Media, Audio Media, and Manipulative Media.

People, text, and visual media can aid in the process of making education not only interesting, but also readily accessible to all, because through these, and with the technological advances that the world has achieved presently, it would be a lot easier to reach learners worldwide through these types of media.

My major is CA-English in Elementary, which makes my major more of Reading. And I can easily use these types of media for my classes. I can use people media to show the students how body language can be used as a form of reading. Text media will also be used, since most of the materials that we read have alphanumeric symbols. And finally, I can also use visual media through picture books, which are books that contain only pictures, no words, and it will be up to the student to interpret the storyline.

Motion, Audio, and Manipulatives media is like, more upgraded as compared to the previous resources, that's why it is more widely used, especially in the 21st century.

Since my major is mostly focused on reading, these three types of media are also very helpful for me. Nowadays, there are the so-called digital storybooks, which cover motion media (the pictures are moving), audio media (there is a narrating voice), and manipulatives media (they are very interactive, especially when it comes to turning the page and such).

My groupmates and I in one of our reports! :)
